Ophidian Guild pieces are handcrafted once an order is placed. They are custom made to fit your measurements, so please make sure to choose a size that is right for you. Measure the diameter around your neck with measuring tape. Even though every piece is adjustable, the sizing is to ensure that the piece will sit correctly and comfortably. 

 Chainmail is a time consuming process, and working with stainless steel can take an enormous amount of time. Ophidian Guild is a single person operation, from each link in every chain down to every rivet set in leather. Please allow 4-6 weeks turnaround time for shipping from the purchase date. International shipping will take approximately 6-7 weeks from the time of purchase.

All items shipped within the U.S. are covered by insurance for the amount purchased. However, USPS insurance only covers items damaged or lost due to USPS employees or facilities. Insurance does not cover items that are stolen or lost once item has been delivered. Please consider this before check out and send your piece to the safest address. Ophidian Guild is not responsible for lost items once delivery has commenced and tracking number has been obtained. If you would like to add the option of a signature at delivery for an additional fee please contact me after your purchase.

For local pickup, enter the code: LOCAL for free shipping on your entire order. You must be able to pick up at our studio in West Philadelphia within two weeks of the order being fulfilled.

****INTERNATIONAL BUYERS****

All items shipped outside of the U.S. are NOT covered by insurance. In order to keep deliver fees low for my customers, I have opted for first class delivery. Shipping times will vary depending on the customs and claims of each country. If you would like to upgrade to International Priority Shipping please contact me before checkout. Ophidian Guild will not be responsible for lost items shipped internationally. 

If the wrong size is chosen at the time of purchase please contact me as soon as possible so the measurement can be corrected. If the piece has already left shop and needs to be refitted, it can be remade to new dimensions if the customer pays shipping costs and a refitting fee (fee varies depending on the piece). 

If upon delivery a piece is found to have a defect related to production please contact me immediately (within 3-4 days at the latest) explaining what the issue may be. Ophidian Guild will pay the return shipping and redeliver the piece in the condition that was intended at purchase.  

If you have a reaction to a piece please contact Ophidian Guild immediately. Situations vary, and any metal may pose a reaction. If you have extreme nickel allergies you may send back your old piece in replacement for a new chain of a different material. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Please keep in mind that no metal is 100% allergy free. 

Even though stainless steel has a high temper rate (125ksi), these pieces are not weight-tested. They are not intended for hardpoint evaluation or suspension. Ophidian Guild is not responsible for pieces that are damaged due to strenuous weight or misuse.
